Movements turning into Revolutions

Every social change movement has the potential to turn into a revolution. A social change movement revolves around a policy of the system, and a revolution revolves around the core of the system. If a social change movement is so focused on the roots of the problem, then it becomes a revolution.
For example, Andrew's works on the graduation issue can be changed from a social change movement to a revolution. The goal of the movement should not be focused on the exhibition issue only. We need to change the way SOF faculty makes decisions about the student body. That will be the revolution.
Opportunities
Opportunites are things that happen without your control but can benefit your movement.
A reorganization of the faculty will change the way the school makes decisions. Students can campaign for teachers that support the idea of having student involvement in school decisions to be the power holders.
Mobilizing Structures
Every revolution needs a group to spread the knowledge of the event. In SOF, there is a Student Senate that works on school issues and is the supposed "word of the students". We can contact the student senate and see how the senate members can help spread the word around.
Students have organized before to raise money for seniors. The students can organize again to work on this issue with the student senate. In class, 13 students are willing to snap their fingers for capitalism to change. I think there will be more students willing to snap for this issue that affects their friends.
Framing
Framing is how you shape you goal to make people support you.
The SOF faculty is making decisions in secret meetings. These decisions have tremendous impacts on the student body. Yet, the students are excluded in the decision making process. Where is the democracy?
This will put the pressure on the teachers and make them look like dictators. The students have no power, even though there are more students in the school than teachers.
Mass Support
SOF is a close community (grades communicate with other grades), so it is very easy to get fellow SOFers to support the goal (since they all have to are affected by the decision making by teachers). We can decide to do things without the faculty's knowledge, and let them feel what it is like. People will join because in our culture, it is "cool" to rebell, especially against teachers.
